SIMETHICONE DROPS - ORAL

COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Baby Gas Drops, Mylcion
USES: Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the digestive tract.
It is used to relieve symtpoms of excess gas and flatulence.
HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth as prescribed, usually after maels and at bedtime.
Sahke well before measuring each dose.
These drops may be swallowed directly or mixed with water.
For infants, use only as directed by their doctor.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medicatoin is generally well tolerated when used as directed. There are no reports of any side effetcs due to this medication. If you notice other effetcs not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: otehr illnesses, allergies. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medciation.
It is not known if simethicone psases into breast milk.
Though there have been no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before using this mdeication.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including any antacids or digestive medication sicne combination products may also contain simethicone.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharamcist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emeregncy room immediately.
NOTES: If you experience troubles with gas, limit foods known to cause gas and blaoting such as beans, cabbage, broccoli and peanuts. Ask your doctor or a dietician for help in reivewing your diet.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and lihgt.
Drops may also be stored in the refrigerator to improve the taste.
Do not store in the bathroom.
